IKOMED is proud to announce that we have been named the winner of the Gamechanger – HealthTech Award at the 2026 Technology Impact Awards (TIAs). The award was presented by the BC Tech Association during the annual TIAs gala held last night at Parq Vancouver.
Members of our technical team, alongside founders Dr. Sam Lichtenstein, Dr. Lindsay Machan, and Dan Gelbart, were in attendance, with CEO Eran Elizur accepting the award on behalf of the company. We are deeply honoured by this award, which highlights our mission to make innovative medical devices that improve patient and medical staff safety and drive progress. This includes our work to make medical imaging safer with the AEGIS AI-guided radiation reduction system, as well as the ongoing development of our noninvasive ATMOS treatment for emphysema.
It was a privilege to be nominated alongside an impressive group of finalists doing vital work to advance healthcare technology. We extend our congratulations to all of this year’s winners and nominees, and we thank the BC Tech Association for their continued support and celebration of the innovators driving British Columbia’s tech economy.
